The original Marathon tire from Schwalbe, this tire is designed as a warrior. It's meant to keep you going down the road as long as your legs will allow. With features for puncture resistance and safety, it''s been a continuous top seller.
The tire has a GreenGuard compound under the tread which is going to provide the puncture resistance most long haul riders are looking for. This compound is made of India rubber and recycled latex. It also has a Kelvar belt to help increase durability as well.

anwered by: mlewis The recommended tire pressure is 80-110 psi, the best tire pressure for you will depend on total rider and gear weight, road conditions, and rim width. You may need to experiment to see what pressure delivers the best ride for you.

Just installed a set of 700x32s on a Jamis Coda. Tires went on fairly easily, took a bit of effort to push the last 3-4 inches over the rim, but not too bad. I like the ride, the strip of rubber in the center seems to smooth out the ride, a noticeable difference from the old set of panaracers I had on this bike. Can't comment on the durability yet, as I've only put on about 50 miles on these tires.
