Sapim Double Square Alloy Nipple is a service-friendly, high-strength spoke nipple built for precise wheel truing and long-term tension stability. This 14g / 16mm nipple uses Sapim’s Polyax head shape to better align the spoke-to-rim interface, helping reduce side-loading at the nipple and supporting more consistent tension on demanding builds.

Made from 7075-T6 aluminum with a special surface/thread coating, it’s designed to lower friction during tensioning and improve corrosion resistance compared to untreated alloy nipples—useful for riders who want lighter rotating mass without giving up day-to-day serviceability. The Double Square design accepts internal or external nipple wrenches for easier access during builds and truing, and Secure Lock helps resist loosening through a mechanical locking feature (not a thread paste).
