According to Salsa the Wanderlust HD should fit also Salsa Fargo models that do not have the Alternator dropouts. If your Fargo has the Alternator dropouts, you will need the Salsa Alternator rear rack.

I bought this to replace an Axiom Streamliner DLX. I started using Arkel grocery panniers and was having trouble with heel strikes so I needed a rack that placed the cargo farther to the rear.
Installed on a 2010 Trek 520 with 700c wheels. If you have mudguards, be aware that this may be a tight fit. For some reason, the HD version of the Wanderlust is a couple inches shorter than the standard duty model.
Heavy, but I'm a Clydesdale so cutting grams on bike components is ridiculous. I buy for strength and durability. This rack is bombproof. Works great with grocery panniers up to large touring panniers.
Connecting hardware is top notch, solid bar stock. None of that stainless steel strip metal that you have to bend and cut.
