To make the most of your new bike right away, be sure to select a pair of pedals when checking out and we will include them with the build!The Beargrease has always been Salsa's fast, trail-oriented fat bike, and the latest generation expands that idea into a much more capable all-around platform. The move to 27.5" wheels with clearance for 4.5" tires gives the Beargrease a large footprint for traction and flotation while the larger wheel diameter provides excellent rollover on rough terrain.

With clearance for 27.5 x 4.5", 26 x 4.8", and 29 x 3.0" tires, the new Beargrease brings together the capabilities of Salsa's previous Beargrease, Heyday!, and Mukluk platforms in one bike. The result is a versatile fat bike that can handle everything from snowy singletrack and deep winter riding to year-round trail use.

The carbon frame, Bearpaw Carbon 2 fork, and new 45NRTH Levitas carbon rims create a lightweight foundation for the bike, while the SRAM GX Eagle Transmission AXS drivetrain adds the convenience of wireless electronic shifting. A dropper post, hydraulic disc brakes, and the Beargrease's wide range of tire options make it ready for everything from winter singletrack to technical dirt trails.
