Salsa Alternator 1.0 / 1.5 Swing Plate Left (Non-Drive Side) is a direct-replacement dropout plate for compatible Salsa frames originally sold with Alternator 1.0 or Alternator 1.5 dropouts. Built for modern trail and adventure setups, it supports a 12mm thru-axle, integrates a flat-mount brake interface, and adds a fender mount for cleaner all-weather builds.

This non-drive side swing plate also preserves the Alternator system’s fore-aft axle adjustment, letting riders fine-tune rear wheel position over a 17mm range—useful for dialing handling feel, optimizing tire clearance on a given frame, and setting up the bike the way it’s intended to be ridden.
