Salsa Alternator 1.0 / 1.5 Swing Plate Left Non-driveside QR with Fender Mount - 3796 is a direct-replacement non-drive-side dropout plate for Salsa frames that use the Alternator 1.0 or Alternator 1.5 dropout system. Built around a quick-release rear axle interface, it restores the Alternator system’s fore-aft axle adjustment—useful for dialing in handling, tire clearance, and drivetrain setup—while adding a dedicated fender mount for cleaner, more secure fender installs.
