Yes, your frame uses an English Thread Bottom Bracket and this crank and BB will work just fine.

Sram cranks will work with Shimano 9-speed drivetrain without a problem.
If the chain is really worn you may need to replace it and the cassette, but you would have to do the same with a Shimano crank as well.
