S650 Square Taper 175mm 48-38-28 Crankset

The SRAM S650 crank has a 1-piece forged aluminum crankarms and graphics to compliment SRAM's X4 and X5 8/9-speed drivetrain. The S650 crankset has a gear range of 48/38/28t making it great for touring and hybrid bikes. This larger gearing may not clear frames that were originally equipped with a standard 44/32/22t gearing. This version of the S650 crankset uses a JIS square taper bottom bracket that is not included. When used with a 113mm spindle the crank will give you a 48.5mm chainline which should be good for most 8/9-speed drivetrains.
