A GuestThey seem to work good and are accurate. However, the force needed to shift to a larger cog (front or rear) is quite high compared to dual lever designs. The small black lever on the Rival is too short to push the derailleur to a larger cog easily. Dual lever designs such as Shimano use the bigger lever to shift to a larger cog. The bigger lever has much more leverage on the derailleur making it much easier to shift. This is important for someone who has small hands and/or carpal tunnel syndrome. If I did not have hand issues then these shifters would probably be fine.
