GX Eagle Rear Derailleur 12 Speed
SRAM's GX Eagle group is their latest 12-speed ultra wide gear range group and is designed for more of an everyday rider vs the more race oriented XO1 and XX1 groups.
The
SRAM GX Eagle Rear Derailleur shares the same X-Horizon action and Type 3 clutch as the SRAM XO1 and XX1 Eagle Rear Derailleurs, but trades the carbon lower jockey cage and ceramic sealed bearing pulleys for an alloy cage and standard sealed bearing pulleys. These changes add just 14 grams to the
GX Eagle Rear Derailleur vs the XO1 Eagle model.
- X-Horizon derailleur body is optimized for 1x12 drivetrains
- Sealed bearing pulleys
- Not compatible with front derailleurs
- 290g

What barrell adjuster can I use with this derrailleur? Thanks
A.
anwered by: canteau
Ideally you would want to use the adjuster located at the shifter, Jagwire's Pro Inline will also work.

My derailleur came bent in the box (Enduro Elite 29) Can I bend it back without damaging it?
A.

Unfortunately, that is something we would not be able to answer without seeing the bike in person.

A GuestEasy setup. Works great, but only after I modded it by grinding down the lower jockey teeth and installing a homemade weed guard. The mech it replaced had eaten weeds and twigs every ride out thanks to its giant cog and open gape. It wrapped itself 3 times and it broke the hanger on the forth and twisted the mech to uselessness. My XT bike never does this. Best part is Tree Fort’s price, shipping and had the right part. Thank You!
