I purchased this shock fork but there was a problem.The threads on the steer tube did not go far enough down the tube. Would i be able to reorder the shock fork with the threads going half way down the steer tube to compensate for the short head tube on my frame?

Threaded forks that are too long will need to be cut an re-threaded by a bike shop that has the appropriate fork threader.
Some fork manufacturers make forks with different length threaded steerer tubes and others like Suntour leave it up to the end user to have the fork adapted to their needs.
