A GuestGreat fenders-regarding the stays being too long-some forks, especially older touring ones, extend forward considerably from where the imaginary line the steer tube would hit on the pavement ("trail"). This makes the bike more stable (but less twitchy/responsive, however you want to perceive it). Also eyelet position affects how much length of stays you need...In short (haha), its nice to have too much stay and have to cut it than too little. These are truly outstanding fenders, and the cream color is a classy option for us who might not otherwise use plastic fenders. Oh, the ultimate mount-cut them perfectly, then very carefully solder the stays to the tabs-no bolts!

A GuestThese look great, work great, are light and appear to be very well made. They do take a bit of time to mount, and that could be a bit easier, but not a big deal. My only gripe is that the metal stays that hold them in position are a bit long, so the only way to keep them from sticking out (and to get the end caps to work as intended) is to actually cut them down -- which I haven't done yet, but plan to. So, bottom line, this is a pretty technical install job if you want to really get it right.
