The 2011 Rock Shox Tora TK Fork brings a worthy Coil spring and TurnKey damper to a versatile fork already stacked with sturdy 32mm steel uppers and external rebound adjust. At a reasonable entry level price point the Tora TK is a great upgrade for an older shock or replacement for a failing mid level fork. The external lock-out is great when you find yourself on pavement or smoother trails. Just flick the lever and you won't loose any of your effort to shock bob.

Cannondale Quick CX's are designed around a 50mm 29'er fork with a 1.5 headtube.
The 26" Rock Shox Tora TK fork is going to greatly reduce the tire size that you will be able to use and the longer travel will change the geometry.
The steerer tube on the Tora is 1-1/8" so you will also need to run a reducer headset from 1.5" to 1-1/8".
