Engineered as a key component of the innovative Ritchey Switch System, the WCS Switch External Cup Headset delivers clean cable routing and high-performance steering. Designed for frames with straight 1.5 head tubes and tapered 1-1/8 - 1.5 forks, it enables internal routing of cables, wires, and hydraulic lines without interfering with headset bearings.

Cables are channeled from the handlebar into a conduit beneath the Switch Stem, through the front of the dedicated headset spacers (sold separately), and into the frame via integrated channels in the top of the headset. The result: sleek aesthetics, easier maintenance, and optimal headset function.
