 V2 Tuned Mass Damper

Rimpact V2 Tuned Mass Damper is an internally installed, steerer-mounted tuned mass damper designed to reduce high-frequency vibration transmitted through the fork and cockpit on mountain bikes. By targeting trail chatter at the source inside the steerer, the V2 TMD helps cut hand and arm fatigue and can make the front end feel calmer on long descents and rough, repetitive impacts—without changing headset fitment or cockpit setup.

What makes this damper different

1. Internal tungsten mass - Built around a compact mass made from 97% pure tungsten to pack significant damping potential into a steerer-installed package.
2. Vibration and fatigue reduction - Designed to reduce vibration and rider fatigue from continuous trail chatter, helping maintain control and comfort deeper into the ride.
3. Tunable spring rates included - Ships with three calibrated die spring options to better match damping frequency to rider preference and conditions: Blue (light), Yellow (medium), Red (heavy).
4. Low-friction IGUS bushings - Uses self-lubricating IGUS bushings so the mass can move freely between the two springs for consistent performance with minimal maintenance.
5. Broad steerer compatibility - Compatible with aluminum and steel steerers, tapered and 1 1/8” steerers, single- and dual-crown forks, and oval or cylindrical steerers (requires 190mm+ steerer length).
6. Stated weight - 420g.
