Rimpact Shimano Chain Damper is a drivetrain add-on designed to reduce harsh feedback from sudden chain load spikes, helping the bike feel smoother under hard pedaling and rough conditions. By capturing a precisely calculated angle of rotation, it targets peak chain forces to calm drivetrain “snap,” improving ride feel without changing normal shifting behavior.
