SRAM 8-Bolt Chain Damper

Rimpact SRAM 8-Bolt Chain Damper is a direct-mount drivetrain add-on designed to reduce harsh feedback from peak chain loads. By capturing a precisely calculated angle of rotation, it helps smooth sudden spikes in chain energy that can translate into pedal kickback and unwanted drivetrain “snap,” improving ride feel and control under hard efforts and rough terrain.

Built around durability as much as performance, multiple x-ring seals are used to resist dirt and water intrusion for more consistent function in wet, dusty, and muddy conditions. The damper body uses 7075 aluminum for a high-strength, low-weight solution at 230g.
