Converted a 2x10 SRAM X7/X9 (OEM on my 2012 Salsa El Mariachi) drivetrain to single speed, used this chainring directly with my existing SRAM XX crank arms. IMPORTANT NOTE/WARNING: the stock SRAM chainring bolts only thread in about halfway to this chainring, which was rideable but not trustworthy. Normal chainring bolts (with the two-piece bolt and sleeve) do NOT work with this ring and that crank. You need long threaded bolts which were difficult to identify and find as a bike-specific product. Check wickwerks.com for their MTN 2x10 chainring bolt set, $9.50.
