Hello. I have a Surly Karate Monkey. I want to put a Race Face Turbine crank on it. What model do I need? What's the biggest chainring I can put on it? FYI: I would be running it 1x11. I currently have a 142mm rear axle wheel but might switch to 148mm boost wheel if I build another wheelset. With that information, does that affect what Race Face Crank I need? Are some made for a boost rear wheel a

If you put a Turbine crank on the bike then it will probably need a different bottom bracket. Surly Suggests no bigger that 32t on a boost spaced wheel, and 28t on a non-boost wheel. you can get a standard crank with an offset chainring. If you bike has the goofy Gnot-boost spacing then your frame will accommodate a boost wheel and should be okay to run whatever crank as long as you get the correct chainring.
