Aeffect Plus 40 27.5" Boost Rear Wheel

Aeffect Plus wheels feature an Easton designed rim that is based on the popular Arc 40 rim that is laced to Race Face's new Trace hub. Aeffect Plus wheels are designed to meet the demand of aggressive XC, all mountain, and enduro riders looking for a wheelset that is strong, stiff and relatively lightweight.

The rim on the Aeffect Plus wheels features a generous 40mm internal width for tires up to 3.0" wide and a slightly taller 20mm height for shorter spokes which makes for a stronger and stiffer wheel. Aeffect Plus wheels are tubeless ready with a bead design that holds onto the tire even at low air pressures. To get you on the trail quicker Aeffect Plus wheels come pre-taped and include a tubeless valve already installed.

At the center of the Aeffect Plus wheels is Race Face''s new Trace hub. The Trace hub features full sealed bearings, a 6 bolt rotor mount and on rear hubs a fairly quick 9.2 degrees of engagement on the freehub body. The Traces straight pull hub flange design allows Race Face to build the Aeffect Plus wheels with the same spoke length front and rear. If you are purchasing a rear wheel, 5 additional spokes are included. 

This Aeffect Plus Rear Wheel is available in your choice or either SRAM XD or Shimano HG compatible freehub bodies. Shimano versions are compatible with 8/9/10-speed Shimano/SRAM cassettes and Shimano 11-speed mountain cassettes. They are not compatible with Shimano or SRAM 11-speed road cassettes.
