Surly fat bike rims and is the first
Surly fat bike rim to be
tubeless ready. To set up the
Surly Other Brother Darryl rim tubeless,
Surly offers a kit that includes everything you need minus the sealant that can be found
here. The
Other Brother Darryl rim has an outer width of
85mm and is equally suited for 4" or 5" tires.
The Formula rear hub features sealed bearings and is designed to work with both Q/R and thru axle frames. This version includes a
SRAM XD driver that is compatible with SRAM 11 and 12-speed cassettes.

i want to upgrade my mulefut 26x4 80 w 12x197mm axle. 12 speed sram
can you tell me how these rims compare as far as strength and weight?

In my experience, the Mulefut and the Surly Other Brother are very close in both weight and quality. Either choice would make a very solid build. The surly fat rims give you the option to offset the rim from the hub to fit on their own Pugsley frames. That is probably the biggest difference.

Will this fit the salsa beargrease frame (2019) if not what wheelset do i need?

The Salsa Beargrease uses a 197mm rear hub spacing, so as long as you get on of those, it will work for you. thanks.
