asked by: a guest My seat tube measures 10.5cm circumference, which calculates to 33.4mm; I'm between the two sizes, would you recommend the 34.9 or the 31.8 size?

anwered by: jackivey I would probably get the bigger of the two, and maybe use a little rubber strip to make up the difference. Something like old handlebar tape. Thanks

asked by: a guest Hi. Is there any item with the clamp having a diameter of approximately 40mm?
Cheers.

anwered by: canteau Unfortunately, no, generally bikes with a seat tube that doesn't measure 34.9mm, 31.8mm or 28.6mm will use a direct mount front derailleur.

I neded to use a road bottem-pull derailiur on a cyclocross style bike with top cable routing and brifters. It was the only hope I had and it works great. I would have been nice to have some simple instructions but I played around with it and it just works.
