The Praxis Works 42T Narrow Wide Chainring in 3-bolt SRAM Direct Mount format is a clean, reliable way to set up or refresh a 1x road or gravel drivetrain with strong chain control and simplified service. Its narrow-wide tooth profiling is designed to keep the chain engaged over vibration and hard accelerations, helping reduce dropped chains compared to traditional tooth profiles.

For maximum security in rough terrain (or for added peace of mind), an upper chain guide/guard is still recommended.
