Point 1 Racing Split Second 50 Stem

Point 1 Racing uses extensive 3D CNC machining on their stems to "shrink wrap" the steerer tube. This saves weight by eliminating a traditional top cap and also increases the clamp surface area to prevent slipping and twisting on the steerer.

The 55mm wide clamp gives the stem high torsional stiffness, while allowing the excess face plate material to be removed, saving more weight.
