A GuestI love the Planet Bike computers but I have had problems getting it lined up for the magnet. I would have bought the wired one but it doesn't fit on the wide fork of my Mukluk so I got the wireless and have problems getting it to work. Seems lined up but no go. But I love the Planet Bike computers. Easy to use. Easy to read and I like the temperature readout.

jchaplineI chose this computer because it displays the temperature, and I like that about it. My main complaint is that the unit is hard to detach from the mount. I often have to leave my bike locked outside all day, and I don't want to leave the computer on it. There's no release tab, you just push on the unit. Instructions say "PUSH HARD," which is what you need to do. A fair percentage of the time, for me, when the unit finally pops out of the mount, it goes flying, hits the ground, and the battery pops out. All stored data is lost and I have to reprogram the computer for clock time and wheel size. Maybe it's just my unit, and this wouldn't be a problem if you never take the computer off the bike. But if you buy this, I recommend that you keep the instructions for programming handy. 2nd thing I don't like -- this is minor -- is that the computer attaches with zip ties rather than a fitted mount. It works, it just doesn't look very nice.

Sba...@gm...l.comThis computer is a great bang for your buck! To get all of these functions...and a wireless set up is hard to find under 50-75 bucks. The set up on my Scott Aspect 40 MTN Bike took me about 20-25 minutes, and it immediately worked. Depending on the size of your fork you may need to get a little larger zip ties when installing, but not a problem at all. Only dislike is that the speed sensor attached to your fork is slightly bulkier than I would like it to be.
