Trixie Fixed Gear Tool

A very cool tool to carry around in a messenger bag or pannier as an addition to your multi tool. Great for single speed or fixed gear bikes with bolt on wheels or a lockring that may need a tightening or a tube change during a ride. Also has a bottle opener, which is often a necessity! The hex wrenches in the middle are kind of impossible to use for any practical application. This is not a good tool for a work bench, but great for carrying around while riding for a quick fix.

Great for carrying around in bag. Lockring tool hurts hand a lot when trying to tighten lockring. Bottle opener just so so. Box wrench is pretty good

This tool is one of the best I've used for a fixed gear bike. About the only other thing you need is tire levers and a chain tool and you're set. Some folks complain about the weight but it's all relative - compare the weight to carrying a wrench for wheel nuts, a chain ring tool, a 5mm allen wrench and you're way over the weight of this tool. I'll be buying another when this one gets lost (give it a couple months).

This is a useful tool and has worked well for me, but I'm less than impressed with the finish, so it loses a star for that, and the hex feature is pretty worthless, hence 3 stars.
