The Paul Comp E-Lever is designed for the fixie rider looking for the security of brakes with the clean look of a bare handlebar. The E-Lever is a tiny, single finger brake lever, machined in the US by Paul Components, and is compatible with short pull brakes such as calipers or cantilevers.
Because of its compact design, the E-Lever is not designed to be used as the sole method of braking, and should only be used with another brake mechanism such as a fixed gear hub or coaster brake.

Great little lever (performance and esthetics) and the machining is top-notch (hey, it's Paul, so no surprise there.) Great lever action, great feel, great looks, and the price isn't too bad. I've had mine for 3 years of daily use (commuting on a fixie 100 miles a week), and the only wear is a little play in the pivot, but that's minor and to be expected.
Only criticism is the band clamp that holds it on the handlebar isn't hinged, so you have to remove your grips to get it off. I don't change grips/bars that often, so it's not a big deal for me.
I love this brake lever! The size is just right for 1 finger (2 if you have skinny/small fingers), and the pull length is perfect for me. It allows for much smoother control of my brake than the stock lever that came on my bike.
My only gripe is that the clamp portion doesn't open up like usual levers. I had to remove the grip tape and slide it into place.
Another thing worth mentioning is that it uses MTB style cables, so don't forget to pick one of those up too.
