Will this truing stand work on a PCS-9?
A.

The TS-25 will not fit the PCS-9 because the head of the PCS-9 is welded on vs bolted on like the PCS-10. You need the head bolts to attach the wheel holder portion of the truing stand.

I recommend not mounting your bike on the repair stand while using this kit. the head of the PCS-10 can rotate. by setting it 90 degree from the tilt of the stand, you can align the wheel vertically which makes viewing the reference indicator much easier.
In all, it's a simple device but works great. I liked that it takes up little space since I already have the stand. Also, the quality of the frame was very sturdy; my wheel was rock solid mounted to the stand and the indicator was top notch.
In all, I give it four stars because, though I am happy with the product, I am sure the time spent truing a wheel with a professional stand probably goes much quicker. Also, I found that I had to sit rather low to view the indicator without parallax error which is worth considering. Last thing worth mentioning is this only indicates from one side which wasn't a problem for me and flip-flopping showed a decent alignment.
