roelofsAs others noted, the CT-3 is a very solid tool that just works. It's smooth, precise, and can pop the small "muffin top" off the pins on SRAM's PC-850 chain without even noticing, unlike the tiny tool I carry for emergencies. Since I have to splice on six extra links every time I change the chain, I appreciate any tool that makes the process easy.

yonatanmunkThis is a nice, solid feeling chain tool; my previous tool was the little mini CT-5, which works well enough but feels tiny. This one has a bit more meat to it. Plus, the replaceable pins are nice.

mobulidaexI was just using the chain breaker on my multi-tool for the longest time. Then I jacked it up working on a bike build and decided to cough up the dough for a serious chain breaker. I was sooo happy I did. The tool was much easier to handle and made the job much quicker and less messy. The replaceable pins are a saint. The first chain I tried it on was particularly tough and I needed a pin right away. Other than that chain I haven't had any pin problems.

you...@ya...o.comWell made, solid tool. Does the job well, and is easier to use than portable chain tools.

A GuestBest chain tool for the money period. If you're a sloppy mechanic like me, go ahead and buy the replacement pins.
