I've run the Tourguard Paselas in the past with great results. I went to the stardard Pasela to get the white for my town bike. At a hundred miles, I'm pleased. I did one ride on wet roads with no unpleasantness. Also lots of potholes and some gravel with no problem. Like their heavier cousins, the standard Pasela is a great general purpose tire.
The lack of Tourguard does improve feel and handling slightly. (I'm running lightweight tubes in these tires.) The cream color with true white sidewalls looks great on my vintage-hipster town cruiser.
