asked by: a guest What bottom bracket do I need. English or euro thread? 68mm? Any and all info in regards.
A.
anwered by: canteau The bottom bracket shell is 68mm English threaded (which is also called Euro for BMX), the spindle length is based on the crank you are using, but will most likely be in the 108-113mm range if you are using a JIS square taper crank.

asked by: a guest bottom bracket height? can it be used safely on the track?
A.
anwered by: canteau There are a bunch of factors that will determine bb height including which tires you use.
The bb drop on the Pake frame is 58mm and the diameter of the 700c wheel is 622mm so the bottom bracket height BEFORE tires would be (622/2)-58=253mm or right around 10 inches. With a 23c you should be around 10.25inches which is low for most tracks.

asked by: a guest Which size steerer tube is needed for this frame?
A.
anwered by: agerweck The head tube on an XL is 150mm in length and with a few spacers and a standard stem you'd probably want to go for at least 220mm on the fork's steerer tube.
