The Pake Disc Track Fork was designed at the request of Polo players looking for a traditional 38mm raked track fork but with an IS disc brake mount for stronger braking.
Disc brakes do exert more braking forces at the wheel axle and may cause track nuts to loosen. Pake recommends that you check the track nuts before each ride.

The inside leg to inside leg width on the Pake Disc Polo fork is 42mm, so depending on the rim and tire combo you might be able to get a 38mm tire in the fork with some room.
