Optis Tubeless Tire Insert - 27.5" x 28-40mm Insert w/ Standard Presta Valve

Odyssey Optis Tubeless Tire Insert is a pneumatic, dual-chamber tubeless tire insert system designed to let riders run lower tire pressures for traction while maintaining a higher-pressure support chamber to stabilize the tire under cornering and impacts. By separating “grip pressure” from “support pressure,” OPTIS targets a more controlled feel on rough terrain without the deadened ride character some foam inserts can introduce.

What makes the two-chamber system different

1. Dual-pressure tuning - A dual-valve design allows the tire’s main air volume and the insert chamber to be adjusted independently for a broader usable pressure range than a standard tubeless setup
2. Bead-lock support - When inflated, OPTIS is designed to cinch against the tire bead and hug the rim, helping resist burping while adding support during hard cornering
3. Rim impact protection - The insert’s pressurized structure is intended to add a buffer against sharp hits, reducing the likelihood of rim damage compared to tubeless alone
4. Low added mass - Adds less than 90g per wheel to a typical tubeless setup, focusing protection and stability without the weight penalty of many heavier inserts
5. Clear compatibility limits - Sized for 27.5" wheels and 28–40mm internal rim width, with a specified maximum insert inflation of 50 psi for consistent setup and use

Includes a standard Presta valve (aluminum) with insert; insert material is Nylon and TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane). For fit, the maximum allowable rim thickness at the valve hole is 18mm (0.70").
