Ochain R, External Adjust, SRAM 8-Bolt, B1

Ochain Ochain R is a suspension-focused crank spider designed to reduce pedal feedback caused by chain growth on full-suspension mountain bikes. By allowing controlled rotation at the spider (up to 12°), it helps isolate the rider’s feet from drivetrain kickback under compression—supporting smoother suspension action and a more “chainless-like” feel when the trail gets rough.

Built around a SRAM 8-bolt interface, the Ochain R External Adjust version makes tuning quick, with external settings that let riders balance traction, composure, and pedaling response without guesswork. It uses a 104 BCD chainring interface and is sized for 32–36T rings (chainring and bolts sold separately).

Tuning and build details that matter on the trail

1. Up to 12° of spider rotation - Reduces the effects of chain growth reaching the rider’s feet for less kickback and calmer pedaling over hits
