Ochain N, Internal Adjust, SRAM 8-Bolt, B1

Ochain Ochain N is a performance crank spider designed to reduce the negative effects of chain growth on full-suspension bikes, helping the suspension move more freely under pedaling and through square-edge hits. This SRAM 8-bolt version uses an internal, chip-based adjustment system to tune the amount of crank “free rotation” to match terrain, suspension kinematics, and riding style.

Tuning and fit details that matter

1. Internal Travel Chip System - Ships at a 9° factory setting, with included 6° and 12° chips to fine-tune how much chain influence is reduced for different bikes and trails.
2. Chain Growth Mitigation - Helps reduce pedal feedback and unwanted suspension interference caused by chain growth, supporting more consistent suspension performance on rough descents.
3. Re-engineered Durability and Sealing - Updated for improved impact resistance, longevity, and contamination resistance in wet and dusty riding conditions.
4. SRAM 8-Bolt Interface - Designed to mount to compatible SRAM 8-bolt crank systems for a clean, secure drivetrain interface.
5. 104 BCD Chainring Requirement - Requires a 104 BCD chainring and fits 32–36T rings for common trail/enduro gearing.
6. Upgrade Path - Ochain N can be upgraded toward Ochain R functionality with the Ochain External Travel Adjust Upgrade Kit (sold separately).
