2013 SIR 9 Complete XT

We all love the ride of a steel frame, and the Niner SIR 9 is the steel frame we've been holding our breath for. Able to take todays latest standards, such as tapered steertube forks, and featuring a 12x142mm thru-axle rear end, the SIR 9 takes riding as seriously as any carbon or aluminum frame, and feels great!

The SIR 9 uses a custom selected Reynolds 853 Double Zone Butted tubing set, that utilizes the best tube options for each application. Niner''s BioCentric II bottom bracket is the cleanest solution we''ve seen yet for singlespeed use, with no chain tensioners or sliding dropouts, and means your brakes are always properly adjusted. Niner''s passion for 29ers shows itself in the dialed geometry of the SIR 9, using 29er specific headtube angles for quick steering, and a great rider position.

When you buy a complete Niner, you''re getting a hand selected build kit priced to compete with any of the major brands, without using sub-par "filler parts." Featuring a complete Shimano XT 2x10 drivetrain, XT hydraulic brakes, and Sun Ringle Black Flag wheels with a beefy 15mm thru-axle wrapped up in Schwalbe Racing Ralph 29x2.25" tires.
