The Wild Run'r road tire from Michelin helps turn your 26" mountain bike into a mean road machine. The volume of the 1.4" tire helps to keep the ride fast but comfy. If you''re switching over from your regular mountain bike tires, you will probably need new tubes as well.

asked by: a guest What is the max pressure for this tire?
A.
anwered by: canteau Michelin lists the tire pressure at 36-87 PSI., some mountain rims such as Stan's ZTR rims are not rated for 87psi. You will always want to make sure that you do not go over the recomended max pressure that the rim can handle.

Great tires, awesome price. Paid half what I would have almost anywhere else. Mounted on my cannondale stock mountain bike wheels with no problem. Very fast and smooth!
Treefortbikes rock! I ordered my tire (1) from TFB and one from another place. TFB delivered my tires two days quicker than the other store. Just had to throw that in there. (Both were same distance but TFB used a better mail carrier in my opinion. And was also about 5 bucks cheaper).
Tires roll Quick And feel great. Im using a Specialized Hardrock and ride paved paths here in Lenexa KS, and decided to make use of the paved paths and get decent slicks to make the ride worth while. Until i can afford a road bike, these tires will work just fine.
Ready to ride some charity events.
Im so happy now!
Thanks TFB!

I had some 26x1.75 slick tires previously and the ride was smooth, but the tires were really heavy, and that slowed me down a lot. Now that I've got the Michelin Wild Run'R tires on, my bike feels lighter and I ride much faster and corner better. The ride is not as smooth, but not so much that I would go back to the wider tires. I also like that there's a wide range of inflation choices. You can pump them up to the max (87 psi) or keep them around 75 psi or lower for a much softer ride. All things considered, I'm very happy with these tires.
