Fresh of a completely revamped line of tires in 2011 (the original Wild Grip'r included), Michelin clearly is not resting on their laurels for 2012 as evidenced by the new Wild Grip''r 2. Intended as Michelin''s all-purpose tire, the new tread has arranged knobs with striking an even balance between grip, rolling speed, and mud clearing. Serious about making an ideal jack-of-all trades, they have even optimized the rubber compound along the same lines, even varying it slightly to account for different tire widths. With a proactive approach like that, how could they not come out with a great tire?
- Tubeless-ready 60tpi casing
- Optimally arranged knobs for balanced performance
- 63A Shore tread compound hardness
- Revised shoulder knobs
