mvwandersonThis is my tire of choice. Am not a racer, but put on lots of miles. On the first go-round, the front lasted 7200 miles, while the rears (3 of them) were good for about 2800 each. Liking that result, I stuck with them, and the second front tire just reached 7560 miles, and the rears on round two lasted 3188 and 3257 miles, with the third one now at 1135 and looking almost new. I've got more on the shelf, but at this rate, they may sit there for a few more months.
Great feel and grip, fantastic mileage. there will have to be some kind of new tire technology to get me to use any other tire.

A GuestWay less prone to cuts than other tires I have used. Great for training or fast commuting, I would say they don't feel as fast as lighter, thinner tires I have used, so I don't imagine they are good for racing, though I am not a racer. Excellent grip, very confidence inspiring. Great puncture resistance until they get really thin, then they start popping like popcorn. Just don't be too greedy and try to squeeze the last few hundred miles out of them. It ain't worth it. I've gone through about 6, and I won't use anything else until I see a hundred raving reviews about something new.

cmcneillI've used this tire for years, and like the durability. They wear very well, grip nicely in all types of weather, and are a good value. I've only used several other tires for comparison, because once I found these, I stick with what works.

reedonatorI have been using these Michelin Krylion Carbon tires for two years now and I really like them a lot. I generally get around 2000 miles out of a set and that is with riding on a lot of rough roads with cracks and potholes. These tires have a very smooth surface yet they stick really well. I have had very few flats since I started using the Michelin Krylion Carbons.

A GuestGreat tire. Recently purchased second set (nearly 1.5k on first). A really excellent tire, on the flats and in the corners, rain or shine. Offers a sense of security that I haven't experienced from others. Have and will continue to recommend to others. Try'em you'll like'em. See ya on the road.

abarnoskyDitto to everything above. These tires are durable, light, puncture-resistant, and fast rolling. I used them on a 300 mile ride without issue - no flats, and didn't hold me back. Need a fast road tire but good puncture protection? This is the one to go with.

A GuestThis really is the perfect tire. Smooth, light, super durable, super grippy. I've had one flat in over a thousand miles, and that was on a nail that would have punctured an 18 wheeler tire (got shunted sideways into some road debris). Light and fast enough to race, durable enough to commute.

A GuestMy first set lasted more than 4K miles. In that time, I only had 2 flats. The 2nd flat was deserved due to a completely worn rear tire.

A GuestI have been using these tires on both my road and tri bikes for over 3 years now. They are light, very puncture resistant, and provide excellent grip. I am afraid to try any other tire since these seem to be such a great balance of features. I recommend them to anybody who cares to listen

A GuestI ridden many tires. Overall, based on traction, puncture resistance, durability/wear, and weight these are absolutely the BEST all around tire.

A GuestWhen I bought these tires in 2003 I was riding close to 50 miles a day into and around Manhattan. These tires held up better than my specialized turbo S ever did. Great rolling resistance, never had to get up after a blowout (haven't had a patch kit for 5 years). I haven't been riding much since 2007(at all after I broke my clavicle March of 2010) but I decided that last years resolution of getting back on the bike was going to be this years. I took the bike down and put 110 lbs into the tires and off I went. These tires are about 8 years old and still going. I found some signs of wear today and started looking for a set of tires I could afford. I'm getting another set of these because if they lasted through NYC winters, and summers (a few just sitting in the garage) and still road worthy, I guess that's good enough for me.

mvwandersonJust some more mileage data to add to my first review. The most recent milestones were 8220 for that second round front tire, and 3355 for the rear. After I learned to nurture them in our winter wet conditions (looking for and removing small embedded stone and glass chips), the third round tires are at 4630 on the front, and a new-record 4185 on the rear. I had to replace the ones on the shelf, however, selling them to friends, who, I noticed, have adopted them as well.
I know I'm in a rut, but these tires are simply the best you can get, especially at TreeFork prices. A penny a mile for rears, less than 1/2 cent per mile on the front. I wish chains were so cost-effective.

esande7Great tire. I have been using it about a month now in a puncture-happy area and haven't had a single issue. Tire has great grip on dry ground. I haven't had a chance to test on wet surfaces.

A GuestJury is still out on longevity. But it is a nice tire that is serving me well on the chip sealed roads of rural NC

abebeeGreat tire. Smooth ride with low rolling resistance.

velosopherHaven't had 'em for long, but friends rate longevity highly. Very puncture resistant, nicely grippy and supple, reasonably light. Good price.

twjones80Great tire, rode smooth and gripped the road.

A GuestSo far these wheels have been fast and grip to the road like glue. Still going strong, but I haven't had them for more than 2-3 weeks.
I'm new to road bikes, so I haven't tried out many different tires, but I like these so far.

pickspubReplaced my old Continentals with these and I really like them. They look awesome and ride really nice. They do take some work to get onto your rims, so don't give up :) they're worth it!

A GuestRides great. Only have a few weeks of training on them, so I can't comment on durability yet. All in all, they feel good.
