Rekon 29" Mountain Tire - MaxxTerra, EXO

Maxxis Rekon 29" Mountain Tire in MaxxTerra rubber with EXO sidewall protection is a fast trail tire built for intermediate-to-technical terrain where predictable braking and confident cornering matter more than outright mud clearance.

The Rekon’s wide center knobs are shaped to stay composed under hard braking, while the L-shaped side knobs add support when the trail gets loose and the bike is leaned over—helping riders carry speed through turns without the vague, drifting feel that comes with less structured edge tread.

• 29" trail-focused tread - Balanced grip and rolling efficiency for modern trail riding, from hardpack to loose-over-hard conditions
• Wide center knobs - More consistent braking traction and control on steeper, technical descents
• L-shaped side knobs - Added edge support for carving loose turns and holding a line when cornering aggressively
• MaxxTerra compound - Tuned for trail use with strong cornering grip while keeping rolling resistance in check
• EXO sidewall protection - Improved cut and abrasion resistance for rocky trails and rougher terrain
