Maxxis Hookworm Tires. Huge air-volume softens the drops, while the inverted tread design makes rolling resistance minimal. Bead-to-bead tread provides durability and traction whether you're dropping staircases, grinding rails or riding in your local skatepark.

anwered by: theofarnum Unfortunately, Haro does not list a max tire size for this bike on their website. You might try contacting them directly with this question.

anwered by: mlewis We're not familiar with that rim, you'll want to measure the width to make sure its around 20mm wide or more. Also, note this is a very wide tire and won't fit in all frames, so make sure your bike has clearance for this wide of a tire.

asked by: a guest Will this tire fit a 2.0 inch rim (internal diameter) with 2.25 external diameter
A.
anwered by: mtheodore Yes, this tire would fit a rim like you've described just fine; however, there are a number of other factors that my impede the use of this tire. Please give us a call at 734 484 9999 for additional assistance!

asked by: a guest Will they fit on my 06 Gary Fisher Piranha?
A.
anwered by: a guest They fit on my GF Piranha with no issues. They fit my 4300 disc as well.

anwered by: canteau Trek recommends a maximum tire width of 2.25. So based on Trek's recommendation it will not.
We are not a Trek/Gary Fisher dealer and do not see many Piranha's in the shop. Your local Trek/Gary Fisher dealer may better be able to tell you how much leeway there is in the 2.25 max tire recommendation.

I had specialized comp tires on my bike before. I wanted a tire that had little rolling resistance, but was wide, so if i go off road I don't have to worry about cutting in the dirt and having to walk in places. These tires do great off or on road. They are a little heavy and I you do feel it a little, but the deceleration is minimal in comparison to my specialized comp tire. They are a little taller, so I recalibrate my odometer to see a true difference and not just a mathematical one. Over a 20 mile trip i increased my average speed 4 mph.
As far as Bullet proof, I have no idea yet, but they appear and feel strong. I also have the thick inner tubes.

Smooth fast comfy. Can you say centrifugal force. Weight realy not a problem and really worth the plusses. BIG BIG tire. Barely fits my Motobecane 600 DS.BUT I love it.
Summed up: Great tire for my use mostly urban streets.
Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.

I commute everyday 20miles (10 each way) and these things are greatttt! Low rolling resistance, incredibly quiet, and soft. A bit heavy so you lose acceleration but nothing crazy, you get used to it. Running them at 60 psi with 2.25 tube with no problems. Some people have problems getting them on or off, but I haven't had a problem. They go one without any levers, bare hands. I get compliments all the time on how awesome they look, which is a win & lose, makes my bike more attractive to would be thieves.
