Dissector II 29" Tire - MaxxTerra, DD

Maxxis Dissector II 29" Tire in MaxxTerra rubber with a DoubleDown (DD) casing is a purpose-built 29er MTB tire for dry, hardpacked, rocky, and root-laced trails where predictable braking and confident cornering matter more than all-conditions versatility.

Compared to the familiar Dissector tread layout, the updated center row splits the “3” into individual knobs to improve braking bite and help the tread conform to uneven rock and roots. Transition knobs are pushed outward for a smoother, more consistent feel as the bike is leaned over—useful when the trail demands quick direction changes without vague mid-corner behavior.
