The Maxxis Assegai is a premier tire primarily made for use in downhill racing, and very aggressive trail conditions. Featuring Wide Trail Casing, these tires are optimized for use with 30-35 mm rims. With the knob height sitting right in the middle of the DHR II and the Shorty, the Assegai focus on reducing the rolling resistance, while improving the traction. The 3C MaxxGrip compound gives you improved confidence in the gnarliest conditions.
