Parachute MCR 2 Helmet

MET Parachute MCR 2 is a convertible full-face helmet built for enduro, trail, and modern E-MTB riding where climbs demand ventilation and descents demand added face protection. Its re-engineered Magnetic Chinguard Release (MCR) allows fast switching between open-face and full-face setups, including with gloves, while the MIPS Air Node system is designed to reduce rotational forces in angled impacts.

What sets this convertible enduro/E-MTB helmet apart

1. Convertible full-face design - Runs open-face for airflow on climbs, then adds the chin bar for committed descending without swapping helmets
2. Re-engineered Magnetic Chinguard Release (MCR) - Quick, glove-friendly operation for mid-ride changes when terrain and speed shift
3. Chin guard stiffness - Chin guard exceeds ASTM deflection limits by 40–50% for improved resistance to flex under load
4. NTA 8776 E-MTB certification - Tested for higher impact velocities across a broader coverage area, matching the demands of higher-speed E-MTB riding
5. EPP foam liner + MIPS Air Node - Weight-conscious impact management paired with rotational-impact technology for a more complete protection package
