The Klondike winter cycling boot is the warmest cycling shoe Louis Garneau has produced to date. The upper of the Klondike boot is made from 1680D Cordura for durability and abrasion resistance and features 400g of Thinsulate insulation to keep your feet warm. The BOA IP1 fit system is covered by a storm flap to prevent freezing and to help block icy winds. Silicone elastic cuff keeps snow and slush from entering the top of the boot, if you need additional protection in deep snow, Garneau includes a hook on the toe box of the Klondike to attach gaiters.
For sure footed traction on snow and ice, Louis Garneau turned to Vibram to develop a deep lugged outsole that uses the grippy rubber that has made the go to brand for outdoor performance shoes world wide. Klondike boots are compatible with 2-bolt SPD style cleats.
Louis Garneau builds the Klondike on an extra wide EEE last to make room for thicker winter socks.
