loubertLook has come a long, refined way in 15 years, despite the same basic implementation & mechanics. These are a great compromise of price-for-features in the KEO line, at least at the $150.00 price point, or less.
You get 99% of the KEO carbon max performance, for a lot less money, with these pedals.
I like Shimano pedals as well, but not on a Campy bike!
Very light and easy-maintenance pedal, and the composite body w/stainless insert beats the heck out of painted/machined aluminum in the long run.
I've run Time, SPD, and Look. IMHO Look works & looks best.

sdfgsdf I am a newbie as far as using single sided pedals, 500 miles on the pedals mounted on the used bike i had purchased this past July. They were Look Arc pedals and a bit heavy but worked fine although i still have a tough time with over the top clipping in at times but the quality of the old ones were a selling point for the brand, the release was always consistent and solid with good assurance of release when necessary. The Keo Max pedals feel much the same but give me tension adjustment and i will get better at stepping into them this season, so far for 2012 with 150 miles on around Dundee Mi. I have a good jump on practice!
