K-rads are great tires for street and hardpack. They do need to be inflated to at least 40psi or they will pinch flat immediately, so they are pretty hard, which takes some getting used to. Great value!
I have used them mostly for dirt jumping on hard pack dry dirt, and they work well and don't tear up birms or corners. I have done some street with them, and of course they're awesome for that.

Very low rolling resistance for such a high volume tire. Plus it's not as heavy as other similar tires offered by other manufacturers. Works great for commuting and for dry singletrack.

I put these on my 1998 Gary Fisher Gitche Gumee for commuting to work. My ride consists of gravel, hard trail, rough pavement and gravely edges of roadway. So far...Awesome! These are big tires and they feel like they can handle anything. I am running them with 65 lbs and they are pretty quiet and reasonably fast. On top of that, they look good!

I'm very impressed with the tires. Seems to be very low rolling resistance especially for such a wide tire. Delivers a nice comfortable ride as well. Very pleased with the performance.
