It broke on a ride this morning after only a year and a half of use. Seems actually to be a carbon cover on the outside. Worked fine otherwise, but I would expect a better longevity. Luckily I was not stranded too far out with my seat post in half and saddle in hand.

I have switched this seatpost back and forth to several of my road rides and have never found an issue. Budget friendly and very light. After Jenson USA sent me the wrong sized bike ( too large) I have been doing everything in my power to shorten up my ride. So I now need a zero offset. The only complaint I have with this awesome post, is that the finish is easily marred after tightening the seatpost collar. No big deal but it started off being a very pretty carbon weave. Hopefully I can find one in zero offset. Great buy!
