akgoodI had chronic problems for a few years with squealing brakes using the stock rotors (RT53) and resin pads (B01S) that came with my Shimano BR-M445 system. After having a much better experience with semi-metallic pads on a different bike, I decided to try switching over.
The product description says these pads aren't compatible with brake systems like mine that include RT53 rotors (they have the words "Resin Pad Only" engraved on them). This is true, but you can of course upgrade your rotors. I went with Shimano RT64s - basically, the least expensive CenterLock rotors I could find that had no such restriction.
I've had much better stopping power, and no squeals, for a few months now.

Nickc711I use this pad with storm rotors and shimano hydraulic calipers. They work great, much less noise and more stopping power than a shimano resin pad.
