These are the older block style pads that require you to "bend in the arm" of the brake to achieve toe in. Some brake arms are slightly toed in from the factory.

Put these brake pads on my 1984 Peugeot PH10-L, and they work like a charm. Significantly improved braking power over the original Weinmann style pads that came with the bike at the point of purchase. I dinged these pads a star because they aren't the greatest in wet conditions, but don't let that dissuade your from purchasing. They work great, get 'em.
